What we set out to solve
BIR rules, forms, and revenue regulations sprawl across PDFs, memos, and revenue issuances written for accountants. Small business owners, freelancers, and even junior bookkeepers waste hours hunting for the right form or rule, and getting it wrong is expensive.
How we built it
- 01Build a retrieval-augmented corpus of BIR forms, RMCs, RRs, and BIR-issued guides with citations on every answer.
- 02Train a query layer to translate plain questions ("How do I file 2551Q for a sari-sari store?") into the right form + filing path.
- 03Surface deadlines, penalties, and required attachments inline so users get a complete checklist, not just an answer.
- 04Keep a human-in-the-loop review for any tax computation before it is shown as final.
